I'm so glad you found your way here. Searching for a counselor can often be an overwhelming step, one you have probably been thinking about taking for a while and likely has been weighing heavy on your heart. Or perhaps it's a step you are surprised and worried to be taking after learning your child's doctor or teacher suggested you consider. But, you took the step and if you feel I would be a good fit for your needs, I would be honored to walk alongside you through the therapeutic process.
With over 25 years of clinical experience and 21 years of personal experience as a parent, I have hand-picked each item in my therapy office to help meet the needs of my clients. I specialize in working with families and children to address concerns such as: anxiety, grief and loss, attachment, trauma, emotion regulation and in teaming with families and educators to best support children’s social and emotional well-being.
Watching your child struggle is difficult. I provide parents with a space to be real about their hopes, fears and struggles and work with children in a way that celebrates their strengths. I want you to leave feeling empowered with tools and new insights to create the change you want to see for your child and family. My hope is we can work together to build rapport and create a supportive and safe environment where your child and family can grow, heal, and THRIVE.
